Yesterday evening, it was nice and sunny so we decided to take a wee stroll down to the harbour. I thought it would be a nice idea so that the boys could have an ice cream and a play in the sand.....
...Vikki could get a bit of sunshine....
...and I could enjoy a little (ahem) fresh air! Very refreshing.
Ian - have you really had 57 days of continuous rain in Houston? We have had a cold, wet summer here but at least we've not been flooded like down in England.
Jen - I think Iain enjoyed his beer. Meanwhile I had a blackcurrant and lemonade. Now that I'm past the morning sickness I am desperate for a glass (or 3) of wine... Shame they've just changed the guidelines to say no booze during pregnancy. It's amazing how they keep changing the advice; so different from 8 years ago!!
Don't quote me on this, but I think ONE glass of wine a week isn't supposed to hurt the wee leetol one within. Or something like that - maybe it was three glass. . . ? :)
Until just recently, we here in Fort Worth, TX had 47 straight days of rain. Our yard didn't know what to do - thrive? die? squish? flood? Most of the newly, recently sodded, extremely expensive backyard has died. It's not fabulous. So, while I haven't been watching the weather in H-town closely, yes, I'm pretty sure Ian's not exaggerating.
I think we've had a few days where it hasn't rained on us. Possibly even a couple of consecutive days, but it's been such a dreary summer it's hard to remember

Definitely looks like a great beer! Errr. . . . I mean, great time!
Yeah, looks great. Meanwhile, back in Houston, day 57 of continuous rain continues.
