Tch. Lachlan needs a haircut! Kids today!

That's what we keep telling him, but he doesn't listen. Apparently the other kids at school think his hair's "cool", so who are we to deprive him of his little bit of coolness.

I'm told by swmbo that I should inform you that he has been bought a brush and will use it on school days. By Order of the Management.

It's cool, I agree. I just don't think a 9 year old should be allowed to have hair like a Seattle grunge rocker while I'm worried about mine receding and/or turning gray.

Don't worry about your hair turning grey; I think most women find that attractive in a man. It's unfair, men look more distinguished when they go grey but women are deemed to have let themselves go.
BTW you are so American to spell grey 'gray'. I suppose I'll let you off since you've lived over there for umpteen years now ;-)
Lachlan is looking like Boris Johnson which is slightly unnerving. Did you hear that good ol' Boris has discovered that he's a direct descendant of George II? (illegitimate) It was on the very cool programme "Who do you think you are?" on BBC1.

I was about to mention the skater-boy like "coolness" of both the boys hair...ALWAYS late to the party!! Clearly Magnus doesn't have enough hair to qualify!
Not sure about the Boris likeness but I now know the outcome of the programme which I recorded...thanks Vikki!

I think the kid has great hair! Brushes are all the rage these days. They spend hours and hours brushing only to make it look like it has NOT been touched by a brush. For real.

Ha that's nothing, I know someone who used to get up with bed hair, ablute, then put stuff called 'Bed Hair' on their hair to make it look like they had bed hair! That's strange!
