That'll do.

I can tell you're on tenterhooks out there, so just a quick post before we head off to the pub for the traditional post-race bevvy, to let you know I completed the Aviemore Half Marathon in around about 1hr58 or so. Thanks to everyone who bothered to vote in the poll - I think Vikki was the only one who got it right.

More pictures to follow but this one shows the jogScotland Stonehaven members who took part.

Nice going. Really well done. I'm pretty sure you slowed down at the end so Vikki would be right and I'd be wrong though. That's okay, I understand. Sometimes that's the price you pay for matrimonial harmony.

Oh yeah, do you really think that Iain would slow down to make me happy?! I just got his time right cos I'm the one he's been speaking to about it the most (apart from Dave Morrow - who flattered him cos he's a nice guy). It was a great run and I'm very proud of him. I was pleased for all the Stoney JogScotland folk as they did so well, some even beat the dreaded Splash 'n' Dashers!

It's been brought to my attention that some people follow this blog through something called Bloglines so don't actually see the main page layout. You have missed our baby countdown graphic! Also we have added a new friend link so please have a nosy. Yes it's the same Dave that Iain sits on the train with everyday and runs with and generally sees more of than I do despite the fact he was my friend first ;-)

Forgot to say Dave is the bloke in bright yellow next to Nick (the tall one) and then Iain in the photo. Just so you can put a face to the name. His lovely wife Carol is the lady in black in front of Iain.

Just realised I've spelled Carole's name wrong, sorry! I'll stop whittering and get back to Corrie now...

Great time Iain and what a fantastic weekend! It is a shame we had to run on the Sunday morning or we could have had a decent skinful with our meal on Saturday! Still, the traditional beers in the Marine last night more than made up for it :-)

Excellent time, you're clearly more of a whippet than I imagined!

More Ginsters for you I think!
