I'm so excited

"Why, why, why are you excited?" I hear you ask. Well, our new running clobber has finally arrived as you can see from the photos below.

And just in time too. I am also just a little bit excited about the prospect of running almost 14 miles over a couple of wee hills which ought to be tremendous fun, especially as there will be a decent turn out from Stonehaven. Stonehaven will also be well represented at Balmoral, and apparently Dave is taking part in some wee charity run down South this weekend. Good luck to all.

Very smart! Are any of the races you're in being televised? We can look out for the purple streaks running past!
My friend Elsabet from South Africa is also running the London marathon on Sunday. She'll be the 6ft lean woman probably with thermals on!!
Good luck to everyone I'll be watching from the sofa as usual this time with the bump!

I'm sure London is televised, but good luck trying to spot Dave in that crowd.

Don't think anything Vikki or I are doing will be on the telly although I think Ythan got a mention on something like the Adventure Show a couple of years back.

Hello Fi and bump! We will be taping the London marathon as we will be in a wigwam in Tyndrum with no telly. I'm dreading our race!!!

Awesome! You 2 go on out there and rock Scotland! You both look fantastic! I like the jerseys too.

[Um. . . that's me up there - ever since I signed up for a Google GMail account, it automatically signs me in as THAT Jen. . . pffft. Whatever.]

Very nice. Who chose the design? Prince? Good luck to all this weekend.

Thanks everybody. It's getting scary - I'm still not too bothered about the run but am convinced I'll forget to take something important, or fail to make some arrangement.

Good luck indeed, nice kit, really groovy! Not sure about the pin strip trousers though!

I'll have you know, pin strip trousers are at the cutting edge of technical running wear - the stripes increase the heat dissipation profile of the material

Har har Prince chose the design!
Some people on certain other websites have claimed that it makes us look like a pub darts team. But I think that's just the guys in t-shirts, not the very fetching vests!
