In case you couldn't work it out from the grainy, ill-lit phone pic posted previously, Amy got married to the Daviator on Sunday at Pittodrie House Hotel.
It was the first time we'd taken the boys to a wedding and it turned out to be kinda crazy, stressful, and a lot of fun. Lachlan and Calum were page boys and Vikki was the chief bridesmaid, which meant she got a posh frock and a seat away from us at dinner (but still saved the day by calming Magnus down). After dinner, Magnus soon fell asleep and we were able to get on with the serious business of drinking and dancing. The dancing kicked off with a grand march followed by "Patio Song" by Gorky's Zygotic Mynci (we had to bring our CD in because the DJ strangely hadn't even heard of them), and finished off about midnight with the seemingly obligatory drunken staggering to The Proclaimers' "500 miles". All in all, it was a good night - Lachlan and Calum had a great time running and sliding around the dance floor, we had a chance to make some new friends catch up with some old friends and family, and it was fun just to watch Vikki's relatives get steadily drunker as time wore on.

Does a Nintendo DS fit in a sporran?
A DS Lite will fit in most but not all sporrans - as we discovered to the delight of Lachlan, and the dismay of Calum (and the bloke who had to carry his DS instead). A DS plus a hip flask start to get a bit crowded, even in an adult sporran.
How much fun did you 2 have with your kids!? I love it, but kept expecting a sliding kid on the video. . . .
Great photo's! I'm glad you were able to post one that was a bit clearer. I love wedding photo's - even if I don't know the person; just heart them!
The wedding went very well and we're relieved it's all over and we can relax! I didn't take a single picture as I was carrying either a posy or a baby all day and night! I think by the time it got to the kids sliding Iain was too busy dancing to video anything. A good time was had by all. Now let's get back to normal!!
