Why are we waiting?

Many months ago, we were told to expect a baby. Today. Well, it's not here yet, and I want to know why. It's probably got something to do with NHS cutbacks.

Vikki continues to be in good health, if a little tired and fed up, and as far as we can tell, the baby is doing fine, just not quite ready to make an appearance yet. I'm guessing we'll see some action at the weekend, but I know nothing, so don't hold your breath.

I was hoping for a different kind of post, seeing as you have been absent for a bit.

I guess I'll just wait some more! Though I am glad to hear all are in fine health. ***whew***

Thanks Jen and Janet! I am fine, just a bit tired at this late stage. I was 10 days overdue with both Lachlan and Calum so I should've known it wouldn't come early! We've tried all the usual old wives things to bring on labour and they haven't worked so I'm just trying to relax. I know I should enjoy the last few days of peace but I'm desperate to meet the baby!

Are you sure this delay isn't a cunning plan to make us all check your blog every day?

Tomorrow have a fresh pineapple for lunch & a curry for dinner see if that'll shift you,it worked for Christine anyway

Seriously? Still nothing?

Still nothing! Curry, pineapple, stairs, horizontal jogging, and still not shifting.

Don't forget most of a box of raspberry leaf tea and two membrane sweeps...

Only a girl would keep us waiting this long.

I keep clicking for news.

Jumping jacks maybe? And, btw, are you not supposed to eat pineapple when your preggers? It does something to you? I hadn't heard that one before. I know nothing on this subject. Nothing. I think I'll keep it that way.

Um. I'm not going to ask about the horizontal jogging, 'cos I think I already know. . . .

Jen - you definately don't want to know about the membrane sweeps either!!

Membrane sweeps?! Am I going to have nightmares now? Oh geesh.

I'm still ***tapping my fingers*** waiting. . . . I suppose you're a bit more anxious than I, but . . . .
